Making it up as I go along...

Postcard art exhibit 2024

9/14/2024

Postcard art exhibit 2024, with work by Catherine Gutsche
Postcard by Catherine Gutsche... SOLD

The 14th Postcard Art Exhibit is almost here, and I am excited to share this event with you! Curated by Robin Pedrero, #postcardartexhibit24 will take place at the historic Cotton Mill in McKinney, Texas.

It’s a Collective Masterpiece! They have gathered hundreds of unique, handcrafted art cards for the exhibit. One of which is mine. Each one tells a story, forming a vibrant collection of imagination and passion. The countdown is on, and I can’t wait to reveal it to you next weekend.

All efforts support the MillHouse Foundation, which uplifts artists by providing visibility, sales opportunities, and creative collaboration.

Mark Your Calendars! On September 21st, the doors open to the Postcard Art Exhibit Texas 2024 at the MillHouse McKinney. They will gather for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the Grand Opening celebration from 3-5 pm EST. If you can’t attend in person, don’t worry—you can join them from anywhere in the world via the Live Stream! On the 21st, visit postcardartexhibit.com/live for all the details on how to connect to the live feed.

I am preoccupied by the intuitive journey that paint takes me on with its colour and texture when working with layers that can be revealed through scratching back, rubbing away or lifting, to bring back the history of the previous layers.
