I’m excited to share that I’ve been featured in a Story & Lesson Highlights article in Bold Journey Magazine! This thoughtful profile invites you into the world behind my art; exploring not just what I create, but why I create it.

In the article, you’ll discover:
  • What drives my artistic vision – from interpreting the emotional and sensory experience of place to expressing that through spontaneous abstraction on canvas.
  • My commitment to creative practice, including long-term projects and the core belief that art can reflect both inner experience and the natural world.
  • Lessons learned along the way, highlighting both challenges and the rewarding insights that come with pursuing a creative life.

Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a fellow creative, or simply curious about the stories that shape artistic journeys, this feature offers inspiration and depth; revealing prompts that have guided my work, and reflections that might resonate with your own experiences.

I am preoccupied by the intuitive journey that paint takes me on with its colour and texture when working with layers that can be revealed through scratching back, rubbing away or lifting, to bring back the history of the previous layers.
