Sometimes you just have to have FUN!
A question was asked
After my last newsletter a friend asked me if I had ever concidered putting my paintings on fabric. WELL as it happens I have in a way. I have taken a few of my favourite abstacts and have had them printed on the fabric that sneakers are made from. My personal favourite is Cranberry harvest. Yes you will see me wearing these this summer.

On the Zazzle website you can order a pair that you like in your size and they will custom make them for you. They deliver in an amazingly fast period of time. They are good quality Keds so I think you will find them comfy and well made.  Plus you will NOT find them in any shoe shop in the city. They are rare and unique.

NOTE: the Amour Maple pair are not made from a painting, they are made from one of my photos of our Amour Maple tree at the side of our home. Its one of the most beautiful trees in the fall and would make a super Canadian souvenir.

July 1 – August 2
Canadian Homage

A group show of "one-offs." Each artist has created an original work that is an homage to a CANADIAN artist who has been an important influence on them. "Something done or given in acknowledgment or consideration of the worth of another." This show gives permission to "rip off" another artist's style in the form of an honour to them.  To do a piece after them. The name of the artist being honoured is hidden under the label so patrons can guess at each piece. This should be fun. Look at this impressive list of 35 Artists – this will answer the question,  “Who do they love?”.
